What is SkinTyte?

SkinTyte is a non-invasive, energy-based treatment that uses infrared light to gently heat tissues and stimulate collagen production. It’s similar to a laser or BBL (broadband light treatment), but the specific infrared wavelengths used by SkinTyte are particularly effective at boosting collagen production in soft tissues without overheating, even in sensitive areas such as the hands, under the eyes, and on the brow.

What to expect with your Atlanta SkinTyte treatment

Our experienced, licensed aestheticians perform SkinTyte in our comfortable medical spa treatment rooms. No topical anesthetic is needed, although we will be happy to provide a numbing cream for more sensitive areas.

The SkinTyte device is placed on the skin’s surface and delivers the infrared light energy in a sequence of quick, gentle pulses. Treatments for the face and neck typically take about 30 minutes, although exact procedure time will depend on the area(s) being treated.

How many SkinTyte treatments will I need?

Most patients get the best results with a series of SkinTyte treatments, performed about two weeks apart. The exact number of treatments will depend on the area, the degree of skin sagging, your natural skin elasticity and healing response, and your personal goals. Expect at least 4 to 6 treatments for most areas.

How long will the results last?

Because SkinTyte helps your body rebuild its own natural collagen structures, results improve over time. It’s important to do your part with a healthy diet, regular exercise, good sleep habits, and a quality anti-aging skincare program.
