HALO™ Hybrid Fractional Laser Atlanta
A busy schedule shouldn’t hold you back from getting the smooth, youthful, and glowing skin you deserve. With HALO™, you can get the fast and dramatic improvements you’d expect with ablative laser treatments, but without the lengthy downtime.
Our Atlanta skin resurfacing patients rave about their results with HALO for treating sun damage, fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, and large pores. The glow that patients experience following HALO is just a bonus along with the long term improvements in skin tone, texture, and appearance possible after just one or two treatments.
Why is HALO laser different from other laser treatments
HALO is a “hybrid fractional laser,” meaning it uses both an ablative and a non-ablative laser at the same time. The ablative laser removes the outermost skin layers to target skin concerns such as wrinkles and acne scars with quick results. The non-ablative laser promotes collagen remodeling deep within the skin, improves skin tone and texture, and reduces pigmentation problems.
Combining two lasers allows us to deliver the fast, dramatic improvements associated with fully ablative lasers with considerably less downtime.
What is HALO good for treating?
The HALO laser’s adjustability also makes it incredibly versatile. We can treat skin on the face, hands, neck, chest, and more to address many common skin concerns, including:
- Fine lines & wrinkles
- Large pore size
- Sun damage & hyperpigmentation
- Acne scars and other scars
- Uneven skin texture
What to expect from the HALO laser treatments
You’ll be in good hands with our licensed medical aestheticians, who have years of experience and are known as the “secret weapon” behind many of Atlanta’s most flawless faces. After cleansing your skin, your aesthetician will apply a topical cooling anesthetic to minimize discomfort from the laser. For patients desiring maximum comfort, we offer nitrous oxide as an additional option. During treatments, you should feel some mild to moderate prickling, along with a warming sensation, which can last a few hours following treatment.
HALO hybrid laser recovery
Most patients can resume normal activities the day after a HALO laser treatment, although social downtime varies depending on the intensity of your treatment and your personal comfort level. If your goals call for a more intensive treatment, you may need an extra day or two of downtime. Keeping treated skin protected from the sun as directed is a MUST to ensure a good result.
How quickly will I see results?
You will begin to notice a light bronzing appearance over treated skin several days after treatment. Outer skin layers may lightly peel away, revealing a youthful, healthy glow! The most dramatic improvements will be visible about two to three weeks later, and new collagen production will continue for several months.

How many HALO treatments are needed?
Most patients are satisfied after their first HALO treatment—a significant advantage over older lasers, which can require many treatments for optimal results! Some of our patients choose to repeat HALO for even more dramatic results.
