The experiences of life never cease to amaze me. I am a three-time breast cancer survivor. I am a mother of four, a grandmother of three, and a daughter to one. My children were supportive, loving, and never once did they lose hope. Even after my third diagnosis, they were right there to cheer me on to victory. How blessed can one person be?
In the latter half of 2006 and the first half of 2007, I underwent four surgeries, four months of chemotherapy, and six weeks of radiation. I was under the care of exceptional and caring doctors. I had the love and support of so many people that my needs were met before I even had one. Now, I don’t dwell on the past, but I look to my future with excitement. I know that God only gives us as much as we can handle, and that is why I am a three-time breast cancer survivor.
