From May to August of 2015, I worked at Artisan Plastic Surgery as Dr. Alexander’s intern. Before I came to the practice, I knew that I wanted to pursue plastic surgery as a career, but what I was unaware of was the personal growth I would develop during my time at Artisan.
During my internship at this office, I met unbelievably inspirational women—the physicians, staff, and patients of the practice. All of the plastic surgeons at Artisan Plastic Surgery demonstrate amazing skill and passion for their work, while exhibiting respect and compassion for their patients that I plan to emulate in my future career.
My experience at Artisan Plastic Surgery gave me passion to continue pursing my dreams to become a plastic surgeon. I was originally drawn to plastic surgery because I believe plastic surgery provides physical and mental rejuvenation for patients. I have been fortunate to have these ideas incessantly confirmed throughout my time as Dr. Alexander’s intern.
